I have a lot of photos for you today because it’s my favorite photographer we are talking about.

Peter Lindbergh was born in 1944 in Leszno (currently a Polish city, but at the time it was a German territory). He started working internationally for Vogue in the late 70s. He is the author of the revolutionary American Vogue’s cover from November 1988 (which was also Anna Wintour’s first cover) and the famous cover from January 1990 with Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista,Tatiana Patitz, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford:

He photographed for the most famous magazines: The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar, Allure, Rolling Stone, etc. He made portraits of hundreds of models and stars.
He has worked out his own characteristic style by photographing mostly in black and white and drawing inspiration from the early German cinema as well as the Berlin art scene of the 1920s.
